ICSDET2025 Overview 

The College of Engineering and Technology (UTAS Al Mussanah), in association with the Research and Consultation Department at UTAS Al Mussanah, and in collaboration with the Global College of Engineering and Technology, Oman, and the Solar Energy Research Institute-UKM Malaysia, is organizing a two-day International Conference on Sustainable Development in Engineering and Technology (ICSDET 2025) on 30thApril – 1st May 2025. This conference will bring together researchers, professionals, and industry experts from fields such as Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil & Architectural Engineering to discuss novel advancements and share research insights. As a global forum, ICSDET 2025 offers a platform for participants to exchange ideas, foster academia-industry cooperation, and promote sustainable development, all in alignment with Oman Vision 2040. The conference also emphasizes innovation, eco-friendly practices, and resilience in engineering to support Oman's goals for economic diversification, environmental preservation, and knowledge-driven progress.

Full paper Submission Guidelines 

  • Full Paper should be in the prescribed ICSDET2025 format with 6-8 Pages. For the paper template, please refer to the event webpage..
  • Full Paper submission should be based on original research work and should not have been previously submitted to, published in, or under consideration for publication at any other conference or journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are free from prior publication and meet the originality requirements set forth by the conference.
  • The research paper should align with and contribute to the relevant engineering track.
  • The manuscript should be written in English and must be checked for grammar and language errors.
  • Tables, figures, and images should be properly named and of high quality.
  • Keywords should be written in lowercase letters (except for names/scientific names) and separated with commas.
  • The number of authors allowed by the journal is 4; an additional 2 authors can be included at an extra cost.
  • The names of the affiliations, including the country, should be mentioned.
  • The paper should include a Background, Motivation and Objective, Statement of Contribution/Methods, Results, Discussions, and Conclusions.
  • All submitted papers should be checked for Plagiarism (not more than 15% including references) and selection of paper for the conference would be based on Novelty of the work and its impact on the society.
  • Registered papers are invited for the presentation in the prescribed PPT format.
  • Mode of Presentation: Hybrid mode (online for participants from outside Oman).

Registration and Publications

Registration is free for all accepted papers.

All the presented Papers will be forwarded to Scopus Indexed Q4 Journal for consideration of publication. The publication fee paid by the authors. (The final decision rests with the journal team) .

The best paper would be awarded Merit Certificates and a waiver of the publication fee.
